3. Clove Hall
Clove Hall is a private Edwardian Anglo-Malay bungalow located in a quiet residential street. Built on the site of a former coconut and clove plantation, the house has been restored and converted, featuring 6 individual suites with wooden floors, 4 poster beds, mosquito nets, and ceiling fans. The main hall is furnished with colonial and Peranakan-inspired décor and has black and white floor tiles, inlaid glass windows and etched glass light shades. The grounds have been transformed into a sultry tropical garden and a tranquil green-tiled swimming pool is nestled into it.
