Classic Inn Premium offers a very good location, in Bukit Bintang KL, with clean and quiet rooms and good wifi. There is a large mall right across the street with plenty of places to eat (along with some places to eat on right next to the hotel).

Rooms are a bit small, but fine. The things they could do to improve the rooms are to put more small tables in to put things on, there is space for them and almost no other space to put things on. The showers are nice (good water pressure, hot water and high – 8+ feet, which is nice when you have some places you have to duck to get your head in). The bathrooms are the normal budget SE Asia toilet/shower combo which might seem odd to some but these are above average.

They have computers to use for a small fee and you may print for a small fee too.

The counter staff could be more knowledgeable (for tourists and transport, etc.) – they were average, but I have had several hotel recently with very knowledgeable staff and it makes a big difference. The breakfast is good – no choice for what you get, but it is a better than average free hotel breakfasts.

That is all there is in the room other than the bed. Which is ok, but a bit more space to put stuff on would be nice.

Classic Inn Premium is a good choice for those wanting value for a good price. The Classic Inn (regular) is 2 or 3 doors away (that is where breakfast was served while I was there).

Monorail Station – Imbi is .3 km away (less than a 5 min walk).

Globe trotters have named Penang's Seven Terraces as the hotel with the best service in the nation, says TripAdvisor.

This beautiful private hotel of only 18 suites, initially a row of seven 19th century Anglo Chinese terraces, sits in the very heart of the island's World Heritage Site.

Itt is the brainchild of hoteliers Karl Steinberg and Christopher Ong, winners of the 2007 UNESCO Award of Distinction for heritage conservation.
