Designed to help travelers find the best deals on last-minute hotel reservations, the mobile app includes new features such as a significant redesign, local hotspot guides in major cities, as well as full PayPal and TrustYou payment platform integration. All hotels are hand-picked by the HotelQuickly team and the best-rated 3, 4, and 5 star hotels are listed on this app. Only the top 10 best deals will be shown to users on their chosen night, based on hotel ratings and highest discount rates, saving users the time scrolling through hundreds of hotels. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HotelQuickly currently has a network of hotels in 10 different locations throughout Malaysia, which includes all major cities and tourist destinations, it said. To use the app, users need to download the free HotelQuickly app, complete the registration process and then select the option to book the hotel for either today or tomorrow, up to 5 nights. HotelQuickly has secured USD 5.65m (RM 19m) from global investors since its launch in March 2013. Featuring more than 4,000 curated hotels, HotelQuickly is currently available in Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The free app works on Android, iOS, and BlackBerry 10 devices. Armed man robs budget <b>hotel</b> - The Borneo Post Online Posted: 04 Dec 2014 10:50 AM PST MIRI: An armed man robbed a budget hotel of RM969 on Wednesday. In the incident around 3.15am, the unknown man is said to have entered the hotel at Jalan Melayu and pointed a sharp object, believed to be a knife, at the cashier. He is said to have demanded the key to a room for him to collect something that supposedly belonged to his friend. Feeling threatened, the cashier reluctantly handed over the key. The suspect then went to the room and when he returned minutes later decided to ransack the cashier's counter. He took the cash with him and then fled the scene. A police report on the incident was filed at the Miri Central police station.
