Any advice on how much a cab will cost from airport to hotel Penaga?

Also, we booked online and paid a deposit. However, we have been emailing the hotel several times but to no avail. There is simply no email response. Does anyone staying in Georgetown know why or it's quite common?

Tricky one.

Bayan Baru is almost down by the airport and well away from the main concentration of hotels in Georgetown.

Hotels in that area tend to be 4* or 5* catering to the high end business market.

There are frequent buses with stops along Jalan Tun Dr Awang and Jalan Mahsuri. Look for Rapid Penang bus 302, 303, 304, 305, 307, 308, 309 and 401E.

From Georgetown is will take about 1 hour + / - depending on traffic, time of day and which bus.
