YTL Hotels rebrands the Vistana <b>Hotels in Malaysia</b> | Rebecca Saw Posted: 15 Feb 2014 11:22 PM PST The Vistana Hotels brands were relaunched in the theme of "Time Change, So Do We" earlier this week. It was a timely and apt theme, for Vistana Hotel KL was opened in 1995 and 2014 marked its 19th year in business. After nearly 2 decades, any hotel would benefit from a refurbishment! The 2 other Vistana properties in Penang and Kuantan were relaunched simultaneously in their respective hotels on the same day. I was at the KL Vistana ceremony and took time to tour the rejuvenated hotel. The extensive upgrading of the Vistana brand wasn't just limited to the façade but the workforce as well. Careful appointment of a task force specially selected from within the company are in place to ensure the delivery of the brand new promise of "Vibrance, Verve and Value". The smartly dressed staff was decked in Edmund Ser's (a local fashion designer) well cut uniforms. I admired the Vistana guest rooms and public spaces; all which have been fully refurbished. Vistana Hotel aims to provide an accommodation experience of comfort and practicality, with new facilities such as a 24 hour gym, Barista – the grab-and-go coffee bar and HUB247 – the business solutions centre plus greater connectivity with free WIFI throughout the hotels. No doubt the company strived to evolve the brand to suit the needs and trends of the modern traveller. The Cafe. HUB247. Private cubicles for discreet meetings on the lobby floor. The Executive Deluxe Room – RM300++/night. Contemporary and uncluttered, each room is fitted with comfortable feather-topped beds, ergonomically designed bedside reading lights and easy-to-access pulg points. Textured wallpaper, plush carpeting and large windows further enhanced the ambiance, which mimics the cycle of the day; starting off bright and cheery from the sunlight from the windows and then ending with burnished sundown shades to encourage relaxation. The boutique Malaysian toiletry brand "Mangosteen" makes its hospitality debut with the Mangosteen Basics range. ` The Executive Suite. This is with an adjoining living room. RM480++. There are only 2 such units available. View from the rooms. The pool. The Vistana brand's new ethos is to offer good value, convenient location, great service plus smart and stylish accommodation. Menurut Raja Petra (http://www.malaysia-today.net/de-palma-not-really-syariah-compliant/) De Palma menjalankan sistem pengurusan yang mencurigakan terutamanya bila menyentuh tentang sebut harga yang diberikan oleh pembekal.
