This beautiful private hotel of only 18 suites, initially a row of seven 19th century Anglo Chinese terraces, sits in the very heart of the island's World Heritage Site. Itt is the brainchild of hoteliers Karl Steinberg and Christopher Ong, winners of the 2007 UNESCO Award of Distinction for heritage conservation. Let's take a closer look:

Kedai Kopi New Cathay is one of the famous coffee shop in Pulau Tikus. This coffee shop is busy in the morning time, many Penang people and also tourists enjoy their breakfast here.
There food here is good, like Apom Manis which using charcoal stovas.
Koay Chiap is excellent, it is flat rice noodles serve with duck meat, various innards, braised egg and the soup is good to taste．Instead of original Mee Jawa, fried Mee Jawa or Bee hun Jawa is good to try.
Beside that, the other food like fried rice cake, Pancake, chicken rice, curry mee, wan tan mee, fried fish meat bee hun also taste good.
